Junior Year Part Two

Literal post title is literal. This is work from the second half of junior year.

Blade Runner (Deckard)
2011
ink, marker, tape, file folders

These two Harrison Ford pieces started my exploration of the hero as mundane and iconic. And frankly just really strange demigods.

Han Solo
2011
ink, marker, tape, file folders

These next two are from my painting class that year. Just some fun pop art paintings, that still deal with heroes. Uh oh, I'm sensing a recurring subject starting.

Mobile Suit Up
2011
oil on canvas

The last painting is from the 1987 Transformers movie, which is where I heard a cartoon character swear for the first time (and the second time, which was a "damn it" dropped by Ultra Magnus).

That's No Moon
2011
oil on canvas

And last but not least; another comic! This one was a collaboration with a classmate.  We came up with a story that our fellow classmates to be in. We interviewed each of them and came up with super powers based on their personalities. It was sort of a community-centric comic.
